Seasons, Simulation, and League Rules

HLM league settings control how your career advances and how each league is structured. Use this section to choose simulation controls, review the leagues included in a career, edit schedules and playoffs, plan future expansion or relocation, and decide whether Commissioner Mode should give you control of more than one team.

Section titled “Choose the HLM league settings guide you need”

Use simulation controls when you want to move to a specific date or understand an interruption. When HLM cannot continue, an alert names the problem or scheduled decision and shows the actions available.

Use league customization for playoff team count, seeding, games per round, draft-lottery settings, schedules, conferences, and divisions. Expansion and relocation changes are applied through the career’s season-to-season league configuration rather than changing completed seasons.

Use available leagues to compare league strength, team structure, contract rules, and loan connections.

Use Commissioner Mode when you want direct control of multiple teams. Its settings let you select controlled teams by league while leaving the other teams under AI management.
