Before advancing the calendar:

  1. Open Office to see the current date, messages, and scheduled events.
  2. Open Lineup to see which players are assigned to each line, pairing, goalie position, and special team.
  3. If the game reports an invalid lineup, use the lineup guide to identify the empty or invalid position.

The simulation controls guide explains how to advance the calendar.

Use Load Career to choose a saved career. If a career is missing or will not open, do not create a replacement with the same name until you have followed the save recovery steps.
