Rosters, Editors, and Customization

Hockey Legacy Manager customization starts with the active roster. Download a community roster or edit players, teams, leagues, tournaments, staff, and cities from the Roster menu. Use game settings for interface and career options. Roster changes shape new careers; they do not rewrite an existing career’s saved history.

Editor What it changes
Active Roster Selects the roster used when creating a career.
Player Editor Player information stored in the roster.
Team Editor Team identity, colors, logos, and team data.
League Editor Playable leagues and their structure.
Tournament Editor Tournament configuration.
Staff Editor Coaches, scouts, and other staff stored in the roster.
City Editor Custom cities available to teams.
Roster Tools Utilities for managing roster content.

Community rosters and editing tools require HLM PRO. Without PRO, their menu labels include (PRO) and the controls are locked.

Decide between a roster and a career setting

Section titled “Decide between a roster and a career setting”

Use the roster menu for the people, teams, and leagues that exist when a career begins. Use Settings for options that control the current game or career. If a downloaded roster is stale or will not load, start with the community roster guide before clearing any cache.
