Crashes, Freezes, and Slow Simulation

Treat an HLM crash, freeze, and slow simulation as different symptoms. A normal simulation interruption displays an alert; it is not a freeze. Before testing a career that still opens, duplicate it from Load Career. Then reproduce the problem once and note the screen, in-game date, and last visible action.

Symptom First action
HLM closes to the device home screen Reopen HLM and test the same action once. Record whether it fails on the same screen and date.
The interface remains visible but stops responding Wait for any visible loading or saving indicator to finish. If nothing changes, close and reopen HLM before repeating the action once.
Simulation pauses and an alert appears Follow the alert. This is a normal interruption covered by simulation controls.
Simulation completes but takes too long Review the number of active leagues and the estimated performance shown during career setup.
Saving is the slow part Open Save Performance and move it toward Faster. Moving it toward Lighter reduces save size instead.

Open the estimated performance tile during career setup, then deactivate optional leagues. The career’s primary league and the league containing your team remain active. The estimate updates as you change the list.

From Load Career, select the career and choose OptionsDuplicate. If HLM PRO is active, you can also choose Export and store the file outside HLM. Use the save recovery guide if the main save no longer opens.

Save the affected career before sending it, then keep that career open. An internet connection is required.
