Scouting

The players visible on the scouting page are young players aged 17 to 19 years old. They will be available during the next draft. Each player has an assigned projection which is one of the the following.

TOP 1: Perceived as the player who will come out first.
TOP 3: Should be chosen during the 2nd and 3rd selection.
TOP 5: Players selected in ranks 4 to 5.
TOP 10: Players selected in ranks 6 to 10.
TOP 20: Players selected in ranks 11 to 20.
R1: Players selected in the rest of the first round (21-31).
R2: Players selected in the second round.
R3: Players selected in the third round.
R4: Players selected in the fourth round.
R5: Players selected in the fifth round.
R6: Players selected in the sixth round.
R7: Players selected in the seventh round.

The scouting system allows you to get more information about the prospects of the next draft. Your owner allows you to have a maximum of 12 scouts while being under the $7.500M staff salary limit. You can send a maximum of 3 scouts in each of the 6 regions. A scout can scout a maximum of 15 prospects at a time.

When a scout observes prospects, their information are unlocked. The more knowledgeable a scout is in a region, the more information you will get. The more a scout spends time in a region, the better his skills in the region. There are 5 levels of information for prospects. For each tier reached you to get more information about the prospect.

You can choose which region a scout is in and which prospects he is observing, or you can do it automatically with the Auto Assign button.
