We’ve added a new tryouts feature that lets you offer free agents a chance to prove themselves during the preseason.
How Tryouts Work
You can now invite free agents to join your team on a tryout basis during the preseason. This gives you the opportunity to evaluate players before committing to a full contract.
You can release a player on a tryout at any time during the preseason if you decide they are not the right fit.
Player Movement and Offers
Other teams can send contract offers to your players who are currently on tryouts. So even during tryouts, there is competition for talent.
Managing Tryouts
Tryouts can be added directly from the roster editor.
We also added a new contract type filter on the search page. You can now filter players by standard contracts or tryout contracts, making it easier to find exactly who you’re looking for.
