Today we introduce League Control, giving you more options to customize and manage how each league operates, along with the new Import Draft system for assigning players between leagues. You can now manage any league without having to replace the major league. This also means you can now directly manage the included junior leagues as part of your career.
You can now adjust a wide range of settings for any league in your save, including:
- Draft Options: Enable or disable drafts, choose the number of rounds, set how many years a player remains draft-eligible, and decide which rounds of picks can’t be traded.
- Draft Lottery: Available for all top-level leagues (those without a parent league).
- Draft Across Leagues: Players can be drafted in other leagues, such as junior leagues drafting 16-year-olds.
- Prospect Pages: View draft-eligible players for any league that runs a draft.
- Trade Rules: Allow or disallow trades and trade values vary depending on the league.
- Age Limits: Receive inbox notifications when a player is about to age out of a league with a maximum age limit.
- Major League Draft Alerts: Get notified when one of your players is drafted to the major league.
- Contract Settings: Control maximum contract allowed, whether contracts are required, and other contract rules per league.
- Career Switching: Take control of any parent league during your career without starting over.
Import Draft
The new Import Draft changes how players move into leagues. Instead of being placed on a random team when loaning a player to another league, they will now go through that league’s Import Draft, which determines which team owns their rights.
New inbox messages will now appear when:
- A team loans a player to your roster.
- A player on your roster is nearing the league’s maximum age.
- A player from your roster is drafted to a higher league.
