We’ve added a new career mode that lets you manage hockey teams over multiple seasons, focusing on building your reputation and moving up through the ranks. Career mode is optional but offers a more detailed and long-term way to play if you want to take your gm experience further.
Build Your Reputation
Your manager profile now includes a reputation attribute. This changes based on your team’s results and how well you meet your owner’s objectives. Trading away a player you just signed will lower your reputation, so your choices matter.

Board Satisfaction and Job Security
There is now a board satisfaction rating that shows how happy the team’s owners are with your work. It is affected by similar factors as your reputation but on a different scale. If the board satisfaction gets too low, you risk getting fired.
You will have a contract and can resign if you want, but resigning will also lower your reputation.

Career Progression and Opportunities
You can track your total career earnings. Once your contract expires or if you get fired, you can apply for other general manager jobs in different leagues, depending on your reputation.
If your reputation is high enough, you might even get the chance to manage your national team in tournaments.
You can start in the lower leagues and build your reputation over time to reach the major leagues.
Updated Career and Jobs Pages
The My Career page now shows your season-by-season results and playoff stats instead of grouping everything by team.
A new jobs page lets you browse all available general manager positions.
