One of the most requested features is now available in HLM25! Introducing three-team trades!
Although simple, this feature allows for much more complex transactions. The third team can retain salary as an intermediary. It is also possible to get suggestions to make the trade more balanced and to preview the final trade.
Auto complete
Another interesting addition is the new auto-complete feature. This button allows you to make a trade fair by suggesting additions directly in the trade view. Here’s an example:

Here we have a three-team trade between New York, Buffalo, and Montreal. It’s clear that the trade isn’t fair, so we can press Auto-complete to make the transaction appealing for all teams.

Here is the new proposal. The faded players and picks come from the suggestion; you just need to select them to confirm their addition to the trade offer.
Preview
It can be challenging to fully grasp the scope of a three-team trade. That’s why a new Preview feature has been added. Here’s the result for the three-team trade in the example above:

Team Status Taken into Consideration
Another new feature related to trades is that teams can now refuse fair transactions if they don’t align with their position in the standings. For example, a bottom-ranked team will refuse to trade their first-round pick, while a team aiming for the playoffs will refuse to acquire bad contracts.
It is possible to make these trades, but you’ll need to be ready to overpay to get them done.
Here’s an example:

The proposed trade is fair in terms of value, but it is rejected by San Jose:

You’ll need to overpay to complete the trade, for example:
